Summary: ProfPao English is offline-first and collects no personal account data. Learning progress is stored only on the user's device. The app shows non-personalized ads via Google AdMob (configured as child-directed per Google Play Families / COPPA policy). No data is sold or shared with third parties beyond what's technically required to serve ads. Data handling follows the principles of Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA). 1. Information the app does not collect

ProfPao English has no account or membership system. It does not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal information, and it does not send your learning data to any external server or third party. This design follows the data minimization principle under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA), which emphasizes collecting only what is truly necessary.

2. Learning data is stored on your device only

Your learning progress, exercise scores, spaced-repetition (SRS) flashcards, XP points, and badges are stored only on your device (a local database). If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is lost and cannot be recovered, unless you have used the Export feature in Settings beforehand.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows banner and interstitial ads through Google AdMob to support free, ongoing development. Ads never appear during exercises or vocabulary review, and their frequency is limited so they don't disrupt your learning too much. Because the app's users may include children under 13, every ad request is configured as non-personalized, restricted to content rated suitable for all ages (G), and marked as child-directed under Google Play Families policy and COPPA — regardless of whether the actual user is a child or an adult.

4. Consent management

In certain regions (such as the European Union), the app displays an advertising consent form in line with the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) standard. You can change this consent setting at any time from the app's Settings page.

5. Sharing data with third parties

Aside from the technical data required to serve ads (handled by Google AdMob as described in Section 3), the app does not share, sell, or transfer any of your data to third parties.

6. Your rights

Since no personal data is stored on any server, you remain in full control of your data through your own device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data completely removes your data from the system.
