MelloFast — Privacy policy
29 October 2026 · Preparing for launch
Preparation policy for MelloFast Android v1.0.0, operated by SCP+ Softwarehouse. It describes the app and related website; it does not indicate that the app is already available for download.
1. Scope and contact
MelloFast has no account system, advertisements or developer-operated record-sync service. Contact SCP+ Softwarehouse at scp.plus.softwarehouse@gmail.com about the app or information you have sent us. Settings → Privacy in the app opens the full policy in your browser, which needs your own connection; the app itself stays offline.
2. App records
Fasting times, plans, goals, water, weight, mood, hunger, meals and notes are stored in the on-device database. Optional profile information and preferences support app functions and general estimates. These records are not automatically uploaded to the developer.
3. Screening results
The app does not keep individual screening answers, but keeps resulting mode flags such as Light, numbers-hidden, Wellbeing or restricted nutrition calculations. Flags can reveal sensitive information, and selected flags are included in manual backups.
4. Permissions and display
Notifications are optional. Background services and boot events support saved displays and reminders. Other people may see widget/lock-screen information. Imports use the system picker. This build does not connect to Health Connect. The app does not request the INTERNET permission. It uses the VIBRATE permission for haptic feedback; this is a normal permission and involves no data.
5. Files and sharing
You may share .mfbackup, CSV, PDF or achievement images through the system share sheet. Backups can contain the database and preferences, including sensitive information. Files are not encrypted by the app; the developer does not automatically receive a copy. Your chosen destinations have separate policies.
6. Android backup and device transfer
The app’s configuration tells Android to exclude its data (files, databases and preferences) from automatic cloud backup and from device-to-device transfer, so do not expect the data to return on its own after changing phones or reinstalling. Before changing phones, create a .mfbackup in Settings → Data and restore it on the new device. Backups and exports are under your control, are not encrypted by the app, and the developer does not receive a copy. To be honest about the limits: this is an app setting that asks Android not to back up the data; the developer cannot control third-party or manufacturer tools you install, or exports you make yourself.
7. Deletion
Delete entries, clear app storage or uninstall to remove the local data. Copies you exported, files held by recipients and copies made by outside tools must be deleted separately.
8. Website and contact
The company site may load Google Fonts and use localStorage for theme/sessionStorage for refresh behaviour. Hosting/font providers may process IP addresses and request information for delivery and security, separately from app health logs. If you email us, we and the email provider process the contact details, message and attachments you choose to send to handle the request. Avoid unnecessary health details. Contact us about retention or deletion of information you have sent us.
9. Audience and changes
Fasting features are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Screening does not verify age or diagnose a condition. The publisher will update the policy and date when data handling changes. Read the health limitations as well.
